Exploring the idea that a table can look different from all views, 4140 breaks from past rectilinear designs with a random combination of angles and slants. The table's resin surface rests on a cross sectional solid walnut frame. The natural wood grain follows the design's horizontal lines and various cantilevers, creating the appearance of lightness and transparency.
Used as a client's primary living room table, 4140's asymmetrical form offers a number of placement options, each subtly changing the area's spatial dynamic.
